What is an eating disorder?   

An eating disorder involves abnormal eating habits that may require consuming insufficient or excessive amounts of food or purging food from your body after consuming.

 

Are only certain people affected by eating disorders?

Eating disorders can affect anyone regardless of age, gender and culture.

 

What impact does an eating disorder have on you?

During the teenage years, your body will require a balanced healthy diet otherwise you may damage vital organs. An eating disorder may also impact on your social and emotional wellbeing.
