Memory

With aging generally, memory will become less efficient and may mean that it takes longer to learn new skills or remember everyday words and names.

How to promote memory:

Eat a heart healthy diet such as fish, fruits, whole grains, and vegetables. Also watch what you drink especially alcohol. For information on healthy eating click ‘here’ or make an appointment with your local dietitian.

Do crosswords, Sudoku, learn a musical instrument, or even take different driving routes. By doing mentally stimulating activities it helps to keep your brain in shape and might help with reducing memory loss.

If you are concerned with your memory loss, make an appointment with you local doctor.
