Optometrist

 

An optometrist provides primary eye care, addressing eye health and visions concerns. They conduct tests, assessments and diagnosis, providing glasses and/or contact lenses, as well as prescribing antibiotics, eyedrops/gels and other topical treatments for eye conditions. Regular eye checks also aid with leading diagnosis for diabetes or high blood pressure.
