Why reading is so important? 

We all know reading to our kids is a good thing!

Reading to your child has lots of benefits, both socially and for learning. Some of the benefits of reading to your child are:

  1. A stronger relationship between you and your child

  2. Academic excellence

  3. Basic speech skills

  4. Reading skills

  5. Better communication skills

  6. Advanced language skills – Better vocabulary

  7. Improved concentration

The life of a parent is often hectic, however try to read with your child at least once a day.

The benefits of reading start with the first book a baby hears and continues into childhood and throughout the child's life.

Reading is a nurturing activity for you and your child.
