Sight and Hearing

As you age it may become harder for you to hear as well as you previously might have. You have problems hearing in group conversations or high frequencies. In terms of your sight, you may begin to have difficulties focusing on objects that are close and may become sensitive to bright lights and glares and may even have problems when adapting to different lights. You may also begin to suffer from cataracts.

How to promote sight and hearing:

Have regular eye and hearing check ups and make sure that you follow the advice given.

Wear sunglasses and a hat when you’re outside, and if you’re around loud machinery and other noises use earplugs. Remember PREVENTION is better than INTERVENTION.
